For my illustration class, I created a scene resembling the Philly Pride Parade on Pine Street. When I moved to Philly and attended my first Pride festival, I saw such a bold expression of pride and community. People hung out of windows, threw confetti, waved flags, and laughed with their friends. I wanted to recreate the feeling of pure joy within this mural that the queer community of Philadelphia would resonate with.
